3GSM WORLD CONGRESS, CANNES, February 18, 2003—IXI Mobile, Inc., inventor of the Personal Mobile Gateway (PMG) and provider of innovative wireless software solutions for sleek new wireless devices and services, today announced customer agreements with device manufacturers. These manufacturers are: Game Park, HIT Incorporated, Infohand, Lite-On Technology Corporation, SANYO Technology Center U.S.A a division of SANYO North America Corporation, and Seiko Instruments Inc. The IXI stand at the 3GSM World Congress (Hall 4, K-18) showcases and demonstrates IXI-enabled sleek devices designed by the manufacturers.
The demonstrations and showcase at the IXI Mobile stand include a variety of IXI-enabled Personal Mobile Gateways (PMGs) and 'designed for PMG' sleek devices:
Game Park 'designed for PMG' handheld gaming consoles give users the ability to receive new games over the air, post high scores and compete against other players
HIT Incorporated's 'designed for PMG' Messaging Pens allow users to record and email messages
Infohand 'designed for PMG' digital cameras capture high quality images and instantly transmit them to a web site and to other 'designed for PMG' devices for immediate viewing
Lite-On Technology Corporation is demonstrating a PMG device and 'designed for PMG' phone and messaging terminal featuring IM (Instant Messaging), SMS, and e-mail
SANYO is previewing a series of conceptual models of new mobile devices codenamed "Alviss" which consists of a new collection of credit card size wireless terminals (phone, emailer, photo viewer, keyboard, voice recorder and digital camera) and a Personal Mobile Gateway (PMG)
Seiko Instruments Inc. is demonstrating a 'designed for PMG' watch that can receive messages, ring tone and logo downloads, display caller identification and incoming SMS alerts and can also check daily agendas
